Zagreb, August 21, 2024– In celebration of the 60th birthday of one of the most legendary basketball players in history, Dražen Petrović, a memorial game will be held in his honor on September 5th at Arena Zagreb, where the Croatian national team will face the European Selection.

In exactly two weeks, numerous basketball fans, as well as admirers of the "Basketball Mozart" Dražen Petrović, will once again pay tribute to the great player whose legacy continues to inspire new generations of athletes.

Three current Croatian NBA stars—Bojan Bogdanović, Dario Šarić, and Ivica Zubac—will personally honor Dražen by participating in the rich program, showcasing just how much he meant to them.

Bojan Bogdanović from Mostar is a Croatian basketball player and a former long-time national team member. He currently plays as a shooting guard for the Brooklyn Nets. Dario Šarić from Šibenik is a Croatian professional basketball player and a member of the Denver Nuggets. Ivica Zubac from Mostar plays as a center for the NBA team Los Angeles Clippers. Dražen Petrović’s journey and accomplishments have significantly inspired all three on their path to the NBA.
