Guests from the European Hockey Federation and the Croatian Hockey Federation presented an EU project on strategic planning to the Croatian Olympic Committee

Zagreb, September 30, 2024 – A meeting on the EU project "Solidarity through Great Governance" was held at the Croatian Olympic Committee premises.

In the company of representatives from the Croatian Hockey Federation, Director Slaven Zlatar and the Croatian Hockey Federation Executive Board member Renata Gregurek, international guests also participated in the meeting – Tom Pedersen-Smith, the lead coordinator of the project from the European Hockey Federation (EuroHockey), Phil Taylor from OAKS Consultancy as the project manager representing the agency involved in strategic planning, and Peter Elders, a member of the Executive Board of the European Hockey Federation.

The Croatian Olympic Committee was represented by the Director of the Office for National Sports Federations’ Programs and Development Programs, Neven Šavora, and EU Funds and International Cooperation manager, Ante Ćosić.

As the Croatian Hockey Federation is involved in the project, strategic planning was also discussed with representatives of the umbrella organization of Croatian sports, and the international guests had previously presented the project at the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
