Croatian Journal of Sports Medicine
Croatian Medical Journal sports (HSMV) is a scientific journal published for all scientists and professionals dealing with the medicine and sports issues. HSMV first appeared as a Basketball Medical Journal in 1985 and in 1991 the Croatian Olympic Committee took it over as its regular professional publication.
The journal publishes scientific and professional articles from the entire area of sports medicine - physiology, anthropology, kinesiology, clinical pharmacology and doping, dentistry, nutrition and sports traumatology and other areas.
The initiators of this publication and longtime editors were Professor PhD Radovan Medved, Professor PhD Marko Pecina and MSc. Ivo Vidovic, to whom the COC in 2005, on the occasion of 20th anniversary fo HSMV publication, has given special awards and award plaques for special contribution to the development of sports medicine and publication in a journal.
HSMV is published twice a year and the articles are written in Croatian language with summary in English, or in English language with summary in Croatian. All the editions can be found at http://hrcak.srce.hr/hsmv
