As part of the 2010 European Athletics Convention in Belgrade, she was declared the European rising athletics star for that year. By winning this title at only 20 years old, she became the youngest winner of this title in history.

On May 4, 2018 in Doha, she threw the discus 71.38 meters, which is the best result in the history of the Diamond League.

At the opening of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, together with Josip Glasnović, she carried the Croatian flag.
