Zagreb, 24 October 2021 - Organized by Lithuanian Sports University and LithuanianUnion ofSports Federations, in cooperation with the European Lotteries and the EuropeanNon-GovernmentalSportsOrganization (ENGSO), the 4th edition of the European Sport Platform and CHAMP project conference was held in Vilnius from 21 to 23 October 2021. It was actively attended by around 70 representatives of ENGSO members, ENGSO youth and partners of the CHAMP - Creating HealthyHabitsAmongMaryland Preschoolers project (creating healthy habits in preschool children in Maryland to grow into healthy young people).

Several remarkably interesting workshops were held as part of the Forum in Vilnius, including the workshop "Equality in Sport – Change that Inspires Change" moderated by Sallie Barker (European Women in Sport / ENGSO). The President of the European Commission’s High-Level Group on Gender Equality, Emine Bozkurt, specifically highlighted Croatia as an example of good practice, which is commendable feedback for the work of the Croatian Olympic Committee’s Gender Equality in Sport Commission and the partners with whom the Commission cooperates. Among other conclusions, it is important to point out the presentation of Erasmus+ sport projects for the period from 2021 to 2027 and the Lithuanian University Center’s for Dual Careers in Sport, whose activities were discussed by the local representative Inga Staskeviciute-Butiene.

Croatia was also represented at the Forum in the Lithuanian capital. The President of the Croatian Olympic Committee’s Commission for dual careers of athletes Romana Caput-Jogunica - who has been monitoring the work of ENGSO since 2007 - participated at the Forum. (NOC of Croatia/RCJ)
